Absolutely the best experience! Great environment, great step by step process visually and vocally. I grew up in the neighborhood, this is just what Harlem needed. Started instant locs for the first time , came out the exact way I wanted it too. The best loctition in East Harlem

Amazing professional and personalized service. She literally was so gentle with my hair like she was making sure the locs we're near and styled to perfection without excessive pulling or overtly tightening them. I have spent a long time growing my hair and I am not trying to experience thinning at the roots or tension headaches from tight styling done at other Harlem loc places ( I will not provide names of the businesses, but wish them well).She basically honored and cherished my hair like it is this precious gift on my head. She listened to the styles I was interested in and guided me to what would work best considering where I am in my loc journey, my hair length and what would promote growth and hair retention. The honest feedback and encouragement was wonderful. Some other loctician just want the coins and will do anything to your head without considering how you might not be ready for some styles because your locs may not be mature/strong enough to handle them. Lastly my style lasted longer without getting frizzy, I did two strand twists/braided in the front look and it was in for 4 weeks. It even looked wonderful when I took it out as it had this krinkly effect. Amazing loved it

A great atmosphere—I got my locs retwisted by Carol. She was professional, attentive and thoughtful. Ahead of the appt. she reached out and discussed possible styles I might go for, even sending some suggestions. On the day of the appt, all went smoothly and I even got a shape up in the shop. All in all a great experience that I would recommend.

Carol's been retwisting my hair for 6 months now and I have no interest in going anywhere else. MY hair's thinning up front a little and she's been able to work her magic to keep me alive! Shop's also got a chill vibe and very, very professional. Thanks Carol! see you soon!
